Hi Steve, thanks for your help. I tried these settings in my BIOS and put the other stick of ram back in, but still get intermittent blue screens. I also stepped back my CPU freq from 250 to 240 to make sure that wasn't an issue. My Opteron had up to 9x multiplier, but only up to 1.50...

Opteron 165 or faster Single Core?

Hey JS FLY, I recently bought an opty 165 and some OCZ EL Platinum Revision 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200). Was your RAM anywhere close to being a bottleneck in your system? Would you think that the RAM I bought will pose any problems when I go to OC ?

I was looking at those Zalman 9500's, and it seems like if you mounted that unit on sideways (as most people's mobos are on their side), it would make the liguid inside trap in the elbows of the cooling pipes at the lowest point. Picture...
