well I do have a DL burner, it is bigger than the disk it is 8.62 gigs, I have nero 7 plus the software that came with my plextor burner, I am not sure if purging the 0Ses would be a good idea since somebody created a menu on the disk to make it so you can choose which os you want to install...

4gigs of XMS ram only reads at 3.5 gigs of ram

its actually the only version of windows I do not own legally, I even own server 2003 for some apparent reason, but I am going to be an IT student in the fall would it be worth it for that reason

Windows XP Pro x64

Currently I am running Media Center, but it doesnt handle my current specs mainly the 4 gigs of ram. Plus I do alot of applications at once. Also I am going to be going to school in fall for IT so I am sure I will be running more once school starts. Am I better of getting x64

Nvidia nforce3 5.11 driver software problem

I have occured this problem in two motherboard, I have installed Nvidia Nforce 5.11 driver, and when I go to disable the Nvidia Lan from windows it restarts the computer, I use to have 5.10 on my old computer and then I upgraded but there was no problem because the lan was already disabled. Also...

well I got the ram in two packs, and I do tend to run alot of stuff at the same time, I actually believe for everything I have other than maybe my printer an x64 driver exists so would I be better off going with x64

I know for a fact that if you connect more than one power connector to a hard drive it will start an electrical fire, I know somebody who had a motherboard that came with a PATA to SATA adapter for the harddrive and plugged power into the adapater and into the hard drive directly and it started...

you also could have a conflict, my Ipod makes the boot hang for like 5 minutes because it tries reading it as a bootable drive, the pain in the rear way to figure it out is to get a another motherboard same type and test out each peice of equipement, and also get another computer and test our...

HD read problem: 160gb drive only showing 131069MB during setup

Stumps is right normal reading of a 160Gb hard drive is between 149 and 152 from my experience, seems like such a waste to need almost 11 gigs for system reasons, but A motherboards do have restrictions even with the latest Bios update, and 2K itself has restrictions in SP versions

I want to make an Image of my computer, I have stuff on different drivers for safety reasons (went on vacation once and my hard drive decided to erase itself, the stuff in my documents folder was on a cd however with the 12 gigs of music I had amased I wasnt so lucky) what is the best way to go...

but I have never had it use 500MBs of ram before, when I had 2 gigs of ram it recognized the full amount, and when I had a gig it recognized the full amount so how could it be that now I have 4gigs it doesnt.

GAK8NS-PRO Two Sticks Memory At 200Mhz

you might have a defective board, you might have to manually raise the clock speed, I had to do this on a motherboard once, but I came to find out that the memory was defective, I have also had this problem with a CPU before

A couple of things could have happened, your bios could be bad, static electricty could have damaged the PC in some way, the chipset could be dead, check your devices in another machine if you can

System restore will not open

I would tell you try and find a software similar to Norton Win Doctor to fix some of your errors, as for the system restore not working I couldnt tell you because I have never been able to answer that one myself

Ok I will do that on my next restart, but may I inquire what CPU-Z is, I use to be up to date on my computer knowledge then I stopped fooling around with them for a couple of years (went through a period of funds being low so I couldnt keep myself up to date so I didnt bother with PC news either)

System restore will not open

well I think the windows security center antivirus override is if you have another antivirus program that allows you to disable security center messages to aviod conflict. I find that all the time with spy bot, as for the system restore issue I have never in my life gotten a system restore to work.

I recenlty put 4 gigs of Cosair XMS ram in my GA-K8NSNXP 939 Motherboard, it only reads at 3.5 gigs of ram, is there a solution to make it read the correct amount of ram.
