    Dont know if anybody can offer some help, but I ran Seagate's diagnostic tool and the HD is fine. Anyone know of a general hardware diagnostic tool ?

    A little more info... I changed back to original 1gb stick. No difference. I'm going to try some hd check utilities run from the ext dvd drive, and see what's up. In your opinion what is the best/easiest hd utility?

    Problem... 1 yr old (no physical damage) n450, 2gb ram, Win 7 netbook was stuck in startup repair loop. Would boot to safe mode, and safe mode w/ networking. Now after attempting an F9 factory system resore it gets to loading drivers, then fails, says it has to restart then fails again...

    I'm sure you've been all through the preferences menu to see if you can stop this. Is the popup window in the same process as the rest of the program? If not, could you remove it from your win startup menu (or with msconfig) ? I would imagine the developers are smarter than that, but if they...

    Auto reboot when moving wav files only?

    It stops when either, or both drives are unplugged. I have also tried all four Sata channels to no avail.

    The weirdest thing is happening! When I try to move, copy, delete, wav files, especially large numbers of them, my system reboots. Only wav files! Other large and small files are fine. This started happening when I enstalled two new 250gb Sata drives. When I unplug them it stops. Help...
