I use a Golden Orb (the FCPGA version, works fine on the converter).
The temp on full load is impossible to check in the BIOS, because it cools so fast once you quit the load, but the idle temp is pretty much okay, slightly higher in the BIOS.
I've installed a no-name cheapo FCPGA to Slot1 converter in my Asus P3V4X board.

How do I know what the correct readout temperature of my cpu-core is?
Motherboard Monitor does seem to read out values on sensor 'Asus 2' that appear reasonable, and changing with cpu-load.
