I'm a smoker and have this problem. An easy fix is for me to stop smoking. Shit annoys the hell out of me. The only thing that I can compare to trying to quit smoking is holding your breath underwater for as long as you can and then coming up for a breath. My brain is telling me that I need it...
I don't really like Ramen to be honest. I can go out and buy a 8-10 lb bag of potatoes for $2 when they are on sale and fry them, saute them, boil them, bake them, grill them..... Ramen does have the advantage of being quick and easy to fix though. I'll give you that.
I'm a college student and I didn't qualify when I tried to get them last year. I worked 40+ hours a week while going to school full-time. I will have to look into it again. Potatoes over Ramen any day.
