Hi guys,
I just bought my first HDTV, a 32" Toshiba for the living room.
I still have non-HD DirecTV for now and a standard Series 2 Tivo.
I hooked it up as my exactly as my CRT had been, but the picture was pretty crappy.
I thought there was a problem with the TV as I could not get a...
I use Turbotax and have a fairly simple return - Married filing jointly with 3 kids.
They told me I did not have enough deductions to make it worth itemizing, so to take the standard - $11,900.
Yet it says right on the 1040 form that the Married filing jointly standard deduction is $10,900 -...
another vote for cruiser - much more comfortable
I would start with something nice and low and light like a Virago or Intruder
also look at the Honda Magna if you need higher performance
Harleys are expensive and hold their value well.
Thats great if you can afford to drop a ton of cash on a toy.
Japanese cruisers are much cheaper and generally you get more for your money.
They do not hold their value, which is bad if you buy new, good if you buy used.
All my bikes ave...
ok, given all these comments I am assuming the people who complain about teh kit lenses are the serious photographers, which I am not...
Thanks, his has helped reassure me
Was looking at the Canon Rebel Xti and the Nikon D40, both seem good entry level cameras. That will do what I want them to?take good pictures without messing around with settings, but give you the option of doing a lot more if and when you want to.
We are getting really tired of dealing with...
Simply Milledge is not worth now what he was a few years ago, when he was a red hot prospect.
Since he came to the bigs he has struggled defensively, can't lay off breaking pitches, has a major ego which rubs his team mates, and makes rap records with offensive lyrics (Mets ownership are...
surprised there is no buzz on here with winter meetings underway
will Mets get that ace they covet?
will they get a bullpen?
Looks like Santana and Haren are out of reach, which leaves Bedard as primary target.
Hopefully Omar does not blow his load in getting just one guy.
The Mets team got exactly what they deserved - zero.
Even given a reprieve by Philly on Saturday, they threw it away all over again.
Congrats to Philly, they fought hard and kept the pressure on and the Mets just could not cope.
This team needs to get rid of the old guys and rebuild a...
Reading some of the comments of Ramirez & Olivo after the game are very entertaining, they seem to think they are real hard men.
Interesting to see what happens today, hopefully Mets will not rise to anything....just win the game guys.....we do not need any ejections today.
I guess the pressure is off now its out of their hands.....
10-0 up and Maine currently has a no-hitter through 6 striking out 12
Could have done with this a few days ago guys......
last I heard he was getting his boot off today or tomorrow and going to try throwing off a a mound towards end of week...
Pelfrey & Humber should have been getting used from the pen for last few weeks to get them used to the different routine, thats where we will need them to be effective in...
The bullpen looks completely exhausted, if this team does make it to the playoffs, the starters better eat up more innings than they have been lately or its going to be a very short October....
Great win today though in spite of the bullpen.
Massive game tonight for Pelfrey, hopefully he'll rise to teh occasion.
Fingers crossed he pitches 8 solid innings and keep those clowns locked in the bullpen...
Ok, I have seen enough...10-5 Phillies....Mets have committed 5 errors in 6 innings.....
pathetic....truly pathetic
for this team to be leading the NL East is a freaking joke :|
wow, what a resonse by the Mets
sweeping the Braves at Turner, holding them to 4 runs over the 3 games.
Philles drop 2 against the Fish so are 4 games back again :D
Highlight of weekend for me was to see Pelfrey pitch well and finally get that W.
If the rest of the NL East was worth anything, the Mets would already be trailing badly.
They are very fortunate to still be 1st...though I suspect not for much longer.
Next stop Atlanta.......
Here come the Mets: 5-3
Duque is done, Sele in for a few innnings
I just heard that Burgos had Tommy John surgery the other day....very unhappy, I was looking forward to him taking Mota's place
Man, pitching has sucked lately. Bullpen stinks, starters have been getting hit pretty hard, offence has come alive which is at least keeping games close.
Last month when pitching was good, we coudl not buy a hit to support them.
Will we ever pitch well and hit well at the same time...
I may be travelling to Africa in near future and need to get some shots
I think I need HepA, HepB, Yellow Fever & Typhoid
I asked my regular doctor and they need to special order some of them and cost would be around $400
There is a "Passport Health" clinic at the nursing school which...
Things looking a bit better now after a good roadtrip (except THAT meltdown against pittsburgh)
4 1/2 game lead in division
Nice addition of Conine, we needed a RH bat off bench, plus he can backup Delgado at 1st.
Pedro looking good and should return soon.
The future looks bright :D
I have a lab of 30 computers running Windows XP and all of them will prompt you to reinstall drivers for any USB device when you plug it it.
This happens with USB key drives, keyboards, mice as well as other more obscure USB devices.
If I plug something in, it detects it, asks me to install...
nice road trip with a 4-2 record against the NL Central's best teams.
#300 is finally out of the way, now we can concentrate on winning the division
Castillo looks like he's settling in nicely, Milledge keeps hitting well ...bring on the Braves!
