well not only would the computer need recorded words, it would have to be able to alter them to put expression into them. i also think it would be VERY hard to make it good enough to sound like a human not a computer though. i think it is the recognition part that would be harder to perfect...

Alienware vs. Dell XPS 700

i think they both use the G71 core. at least my friends one does. @ Noubourne, you said pop another 7800GS is, but the GS cards are AGP. as far as i knew, AGP SLI doesnt exist? it is officially badged the 7800GS, but it uses the G71 core. I think dell are trying to make it sound better...

Well yea, it would be inefficiant, as by buying a 2nd CPU/GPU for graphics, you are buying another processor that can handle everything, so surely half of this second chips power would go to waste. I think they will stay as separate entities, even if they do end up very near each other, possibly...

probability question

Well, it is unlikely that they would all be rolling in a particular way. Yes, the events are all independant. it does not matter what has gone before, as this cannot affect it. As Armitage said, the event of a 6 cannot be "due" if the events are truely independant of each other.

What causes alkaline batteries to leak?

sorry to not be very constructive, but wouldn't ALKALI leak out of the battery? i have never had much problems with them, unless they are old. maybe it is something to do with the brand you are buying?

why can't heat be used to create energy?

How much electricity is created by these peltiers? How mcuh would it extend the battery life by? I can't see it doing a HUGE amount, the system would be very inefficient.
