Ok, tried that and get the following message: "System error 1058 has occured. The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enable devices associated with it." :( Thoughts?

Yeah, it makes no difference if it is a whole drive or not. The boxes are grayed out. File sharing is on, I ran the wizard, I'm the only administrative user, and it still won't let me. Please help!

At the bottom of the sharing tab it states: "Windows firewall is configured to allow files to be shared with other computers . . . " I've already run the wizard, so that isn't the issue? FYI I am logged on as a system administrator. Any other suggestions?

Sounds like you had a similar experience. I'll probably try to get an RMA as well. Is that from the retailer or from the manufacturer? IE who do I contact for the warranty? At least I can stop fiddling with the d$%n thing. thanks for your help

Put ram in and out three times, definitely seated well. Didnt' mess with the processor atall, I just left it attached and moved the board with it on. Only using one hard drive, and its set to Master, so that shouldn't be an issue. Any other ideas? Thanks

HDTV signals using Fusion or My HDTV cards?

Should probably mention that if I can recieve the HD signals "unencrypted" for most of the channels, I will probably ordering a display tonight, so if anyone can shed some light on this I would appreciate it. Thanks

any body use USB 2.0 external hard drives to back stuff up ?

I use one to back up my photos etc. . . I don't find it slow at all, I think that is a great option for backing up, its mobile, its easy. Can't go wrong.

Help with Dual displays!

Updating the drivers worked! Strange thought, because they were from July, and I know that my laptop drivers are older than that. So I thought that couldn't be it. Anyhow thanks for your help, I really appreciate it!
