I beg to differ, if you install both SP1 and SP2 for Office 2000 and a bunch of security updates for Outlook 2000 or just some security updates for Outlook 98, Outlook will still let you receive attachments, except it's gonna be a bit more restrictive when it comes to the type of attachments...

NIC ACPI Drivers in Win 2K?

Is your system working properly while having 7 devices on IRQ7? If so, then I wouldn't worry too much about it. BTW, I have a laptop running Win2k Pro, and it has 6 devices sharing IRQ9. So far, it's been running for months with absolutely no problems.

*update, it's fixed!!!* SBlive! crashes when installing! with liveware 3.0

For 'Failed to load in plugins', check 'Multimedia' in the 'Control Panel' and make sure that on the 'Audio' tab you have as 'Preferred Device' for 'Playback' and 'Recording' only 'SBLive Out' and 'SBLive In'.

See if you clear the CMOS, that should restore the BIOS defaults and allow you to get back into it. If you can't clear the CMOS, you can also unplug the PC and remove the little battery on the motherboard for about 5 minutes which causes the BIOS to revert to default.

Anybody else has other ideas? I just hate having to spend another day reinstalling everything. But, if I have no choice, I might just take that PC to work, set it up on the second monitor on my desk, and redo it while I take care of some other things.
