if thats for 4 years, it barely covers living expenses. i got 60k over 4 years from one school, and turned it down because a state school was still cheaper.
it is an issue though, sadly. same thing as people that vote based on the candidate they want to have a beer with. until people stop being stupid, we will get stuck with people like bush.
I am hoping to take a trip to europe for a couple of weeks in June before I start work (just graduating school). What should I bring along on the trip?
I bought an XTi a few months ago, and the only lens I have is a Tamron 17-50 (I figure this would be a good all-around lens for shooting...
how is failing one class going to affect your overall GPA in your last semester? after 130 credits or whatever a typical undergrad program is, your GPA would drop like .05 points wouldn't it?
juno was very overrated. the dialogue in the first 30 minutes is almost painful. michael clayton, there will be blood, and no country were all great movies. zodiac should have replaced juno in the best picture category, and atonement shouldn't have even been considered (every year there is...
its a pt anderson movie. his are character studies, not moral stories to make you think about its application in current society.
and No Country was the only best picture nominated film with a "message" and most people didn't get it anyway (which is why the ending is getting so much criticism).
its not even close to 3 hrs long....its barely 2 and a half
and it is worth it. i dont listen to people that say a movie is boring. im not sure how anyone could get bored in this movie.
i guess its not for the Hitman crowd....
the movie was made so brad and angelina could be in a movie together. any movie that appears to be written after it is casted is stupid. its just a typical 'summer' movie.
unrealistic parts of movies are usually tolerable, but the entire movie is ridiculous and its hard to care about what...
most companies want to see a 3.0+
and any company will train you. they just see your grades as a reflection of your ability to think critically and work efficiently.
i took it in october and passed.
advice: study what you know pretty well. don't waste time trying to learn the hardest stuff that you barely learned when you took the class. if you know math, statistics, and economics really well, that's like 30% of the test right there (and this is the...
the only good mars volta album is De-Loused. it is a really good album once you get familiar with it. its the only album that has any focus or direction. everything they've released since then is like they turn on the recorder in the studio, jammed for 80 minutes, and released it as a cd...
being on the floor. i will never sit in the stands again. thats like watching the band on DVD. once you are on the floor once, you can never go back.
i also like bands that don't play their songs the exact way the are on the album. i like the improvisation or when a song is extended in concert.
very few filmmakers are talented enough to pull this off (having a plot you don't even pay attention to because the rest of the movie is so captivating).
if you aren't used to pt anderson, you probably wont like it. he doesn't follow formulas at all (although this is probably his most straight forward film to date). and i don't know how anyone could say this movie is boring (but i never get bored in movies, so maybe im weird)
i thought it tried too hard to be funny at times, and some of the dialogue was awkward in the first half hour or so (people in the theater were laughing but i was cringing because some of the words just didn't seem right). the movie gets better as it goes along though.
thats the only way ive gotten thru school. ive also gotten really good at teaching myself how to do the homework problems 2 days before the test, using only the book and homework solutions.
If he is innocent, why did he wait to explain what the injections were after he was being accused?
If these athletes want to be trusted with their "vitamins" they're injecting, they should come out to the media while they are doing it, so they immediately clear themselves. You look really...
bill murray doesn't make terrible movies.
go watch any nick cage movie from the last decade, excluding the weather man; that's an entire catalogue of awful movies.
i dont think people understood the ending, and therefore they didn't like it. also, why would you want to see an ending you've seen before in another movie? i'm glad it didn't end with a shootout and chigurh getting killed. im glad they stuck with the book.
the point of the movie wasn't...
I'm gonna buy an XTi in the next few days since the prices are so good right now, and I've narrowed my lens choices down after reading other recommendations.
Tamron 17-50
Tamron 28-75
Canon 50 1.8
A lot of people talk about those 3 as being good walk-around lenses to start with and learn...
If I was considering the 30D/40D, I would just get the nikon D80 because it's cheaper.
is the XTi better than the D40x?
and the sony a700 is like $1200, which is hundreds more than the D80, so I'm not even gonna consider that.
I'm gonna get a DSLR after the xmas season, and I've narrowed it down to those 4 (after reading reviews and what people recommend, it seems those are the best options for the money).
I'm just wondering if it is worth the extra couple hundred dollars to go from an xti/d40x to a 20D/D80...
my mom broke her leg a few years ago doing that exact same thing. for all the snow other places get, i dont know why kc has to get so much ice every year.
trips to central america aren't relaxing at all. buying bottled water, only eating certain foods, trying not to get robbed....not my kind of "vacation".
go to hawaii
