Safest way to manually uninstall?

I am having problems uninstalling some programs on my system. The uninstall option doesn't work neither does the add/remove program. I am running Windows XP Pro; I know I have to do a reinstall soon but for now I am just trying to free up enough space to do an effective disk defrag. BTW-...

I installed Nutscape then promptly un-installed it, and continue to follow the other sheep using Internet Exploiter. My problem is that all my image files are now associated to Nutscape and not the built in image viewer that came with WinMe. Before I installed Nutscape all of my images were...

Error during boot

When I booted my computer today I got a strange error message: 'SPD not found at Dimm 4', but win started properly and all of my memory was recognized and working...Any ideas?

Proxy Network and Games

I'm getting really frustrated at this point...I don't know how to get multiplayer games to work with my proxy network. I'm running WinProxy with a cable connection. I've tried using Mplayer but it won't connect (It says I'm not connected to the internet when I run the software to join a game)...

Napster with proxy server

Okay...thanks for the help, but nobody has specifically answered my question! I'm asking how to forward port 6699 through winproxy! So far, all I've ascertained is that I need to forward this port...but I'm a newbie with networking...why does everyone feel the need to try and answer a question...

I can't seem to get Napster to work with a proxy conncetion. It works fine on my server upstairs, but whenever I start Napster on my comp downstairs it gives me an error message, 'cannot resolve server'or something like that. Anyone know whats up?

OC 500e Voltage?

I got my FCPGA 500e to post and load windows at 750mhz, but as soon as I try to run something it freezes. Also, I can run it at 667 no problem, thats 133 FSB, but when I go higher it will post and load windows, but when I restart it won't even post. Could this be a voltage issue, do I need to...

Do NOT buy Diablo II yet...

The game definately has issues with 3DF cards (V2/V3 on my Bro's system for sure), and I occasionally get the 45 second stop when looking at the automap as well, but only when I'm hosting a Lan game...
