Saving to a txt is normal but the dumb admin for got to chmod 755 the files (not readable by public). I sent them an email .. hopefully they'll fix it.

I will never use a webhost that meters my traffic. There are hosts that have unlimited bandwidth -- with streaming servers too.. and cgi access etc..
