    Is my new Core i7-920 broke?

    Could be that the cpu is not seated all the way. check the power supply, try disconnecting everything except for the necessities, double check the memory to make sure its seated properly. You never said if it was posting or anything. Is it posting... any noise?

    If you were looking to purchase a motherboard in the next 3 months which would you buy. A motherboard that has a 975X chipset or a Nvidia 680i chipset. I am looking at a Core Duo 2 processor, and it has to have raid. Any Suggestions.

    So I went out and purchased a 19" Viewsonic VX922. Now when I connect it on DVI I am getting a ripple effect. When I connect it on DSub its fine... no ripple effect till I change the refresh to 75hz. Any ideas?
