I would like to remote desktop into my computer from outside of my network. I know that i need to set up the firewall and port forwarding on my router, but how do i tell what my ip address is for my computer? like i can tell what it is when i go to myip websites thru Google, but its the same...

Wondering if you could explain what you said about the chipsets, what the difference is? do you think it worth me buying a seperate video card to keep heat and sound down? cause a seperate none fan video card would put significantly less stress on the motherboard?

How did you get 5.9 to work? i installed it, it worked for a little while then everytime i tried to start it, nothing would happen. I checked the processes and it was in there but nothing was happening.

the thing is that i want good performance with not as much heat and not as much power consumption etc. so I heard the 65 w AMD X2 is the way to go. I heard the C2D's run better but run hotter and less efficient.

I head Aero was supposed to be the big break in xp so if the video car doesn't support that its a waste of my time to try to put it on there? if you have a good computer that can support all that vista has to offer is it worth it to install on that? or would xp still give you better performance?

are the C2D running at the same heat as the AMD X2 because the AMD X2 has a 65w version which is supposed to run cooler and more productive. Coolness and Low noise is a concern of mine with the Intel model.

I am not that big into over clocking to be honest with you because it usually makes the computer hotter and therefore makes the computer louder. I also will probably get patriot ram because i got Kingston value in the past and have had some bad experiences with it, patriot has always been good...
