Tesla actualy bounces radar signal under vehicles to see what is in front of them - everyone else depends on line-of-sight detection. This allows to detect vehicles obscured by vehicle that is closer to you and blocks line of sight.
Nice of you to finaly admit that factory itself wasnt paid for by government for Tesla.
And it would be even better, if you stopped pretending, that a loan is the same thing as a gift - especially when that loan was repaid in full, with interest.
It was paid for by money that Tesla had from its investors - they got the loan only after buying factory (having a factory was a condition for getting a loan).
You are the last person who should be accusing others of not knowing finance/tech....
in that case, include FCA and Ford getting much bigger loans at that low interest + GM that cost tax payers billions to save....
and many other big companies from other industries...
He came when company was an excel sheet and a few people and invested several million $ at that point - others agreed to count him as a company founder at that time.
dont bother posting if you couldnt be bothered to post true info.
Tesla bought the factory for $50M from its owners - not for free and not paid by government.

US Healthcare is IMO completely insane.
I prefer our single payer system - me and my employer (combined) pay around 10% of my gross salary as "healthcare tax" and after that my copayments are limited to around $200 per year. children, elderly, unemployed etc are insured by state. State...
Only issue I experienced, was that after I upgraded parents 8 year old PC, I had to manually install network card driver.
This want exactly surprise, but better HW detection would be nice....
I hate the choice between latest architecture, but only 4 cores or 2 generations old tech with 6-8 cores. Because of that, I will wait, instead of getting an upgrade. My OCed 2600K will last a long time, unless Intel start selling something that is viable upgrade.
Anyone willing to pay $1 per GB is insane - I pay 15 for unlimited data for both home connection and cell phone data(LTE). My monthly usage is around 1TB.
Wake me up, when they (Porsche, Audi etc.) deliver viable long range EV (which includes either building their own fast charging network or paying Tesla for access to superchargers). They didnt even shown us any prototype, so they are likely to be 3+ years from delivering cars to customers...
