Yeah, it's actually designed in Germany, so it's available in most of the EU as well. AFAIK, it's been spotted on a few websites. It's around 1k US with the laptop+lasso.
What evidence have you seen that the R770 will only be launched in a Dual core configuration? I've read that a 4xxx X2 is anticipated, but nothing saying that it'd be the only choice.
While both companies will continue to focus on single card/GPU performance, I doubt AMD will stray from Crossfire. With Hybrid Crossfire X, it looks as if AMD is headed for this full speed and I can't see it stopping. If the destination is anything like I imagine, we'll be looking at a...
Might be closer than we thought:

As you can see in the picture, it says supports dual crossfire and 3 way hybrid crossfire. YAY! On top of that it's DFI, which is a great brand imo. I'm gonna just sit it out until this board hits the...
If that chart is any indication, other chipsets (which may not ever be released) might allow configurations in similar "Grids", like the x6xx grid, 38xx grid, and so on...
Until that hypothetical situation happens, I'll start looking for a different board. Oh well.
There's always the simplest solution which is me buying this and testing it out :)
Of course then I'll be po'd when it really doesn't work.
Puma I'm pretty sure will have a similar setup, but I thought Puma was to support PCI-Express add-on cards up to and including the mobile 38xx. Of...
First I commend you for citing SPCR. I laud their work and frequent their site for reviews from an engineer's point of view. I must note some of the issues that are brought up in that article:
1. AM2+ Processor (like Phenom) which is recommended on the motherboard box makes a large...
I know that it's only been out for a while, but AMD's Hybrid CrossFireX 780G chipset is just that, available. I've seen claims that the hybrid crossfirex will work with a 2400XT, and some 34xx and 36xx cards, has anyone tried it with a 2600XT?
I need a new motherboard and the Gigabyte...
It plays games well, but not phenomenally. I have the 256mb version and it plays TF2 at 1024x768 medium settings smoothly. With this 512mb version you can probably up the resolution and textures.
If it's the GDDR2 it's not worth it. Get a 3870
I don't see how I'm wrong.
By the way I have an N90 and I assure you, it's a great camera and an above average smartphone, but it's functionality is not even close to a proper touch screen pda phone (NOT the iphone, more like the MDA). The n90 also lacks a keyboard which is a large downside...
Supposedly, as the n800 was a bit slower of a seller than Nokia wanted, they took all of the suggestions/complaints and made it better. Nokia has an excellent track record of improving it's devices in reiterations. I'll wait and see if this thing hits woot.
What he means is, we paid double for this same exact sound card a month ago. If you need to buy a sound card and own the razer headphones already, you'd be a bloody fool not to buy this at this price.
15 minutes to go, I'll second the hoping for a Silverstone HTPC case, which would be brilliant. I already have an ATI 2600XT vidcard and Razer AC-1 sound, so this would make a perfect HTPC conversion PC, nice and quiet.
Speculation is really fun. You could have just gone to their website to check instead of throwing a number out there. I don't remember it being 5% ever.
Per Costco.com:
Executive Membership is our highest level of membership. Executive Members enjoy an annual 2% Reward on most Costco...
The image was at size on the 15" 4:3 monitors they had on display, the standard resolution for which is 800x600 or 1024x768, not widescreen.
You would be hard pressed to notice the stretch from 4:3 to 16:10, when you are looking at nature, beach, text etc. It's much easier to tell the image is...
Afaik, the memberships aren't any different from one another, aside from the fact that the business and executive ones will get you in the door earlier than a regular one.
I just went to Bestbuy, and the sales guy who is probably as clueless as anyone said that the HDMI will accept anything, from DVD players to XBox 360/ PS3 / etc...
I'm still skeptical.
The monitor was very bright and colorful, though uncalibrated and the image that they send through it is...
Technically, this monitor is 27.5 inches. I guess that would fall under the "rounding" category.
Dealbreaker (or maker) for me: Does this monitor have audio through HDMI? Meaning will the speakers work if an HDMI with audio output is connected to it? Has anyone tried this and can...
Like it's not bad enough that the one time I was dumb enough to order from these jerks, their site gets hacked. I probably used my visa too.. Geeks has been nothing but a prolonged headache for me, and this solidifies the already laid brick wall which I put up between me, and any further...
i <3 radio shack
one of the few companies i can say this about anymore
I think I've now purchased more hot deals from rs than anywhere else. (not counting woot crap)
I paid no tax here in Oregon. But the wait is kinda lame. I don't desperately need the card, but I want them to ship it before they cancel it because it still looks like the hottest deal on an 8800gts oc2 640
That's too bad about EpoX. I had an enthusiast level board that lastest me for years (sckt A)
Up until recently it had been my primary system. I'd have purchased EpoX again had they not bit the dust. Will anyone pick up the pieces?
For the sake of the deal.. before these started shipping faulty, doa etc, they were some of the top DDR ram.
if you are willing to risk having to go through RMA's and lots of ram testing, this could be an excellent deal on some good oc ram. otherwise wait for some firestix to go on sale again.
Just because I'll be driving my Ferrari up and down my street more often than any other street, doesn't mean I'm not going to find a nice road to top it out every once in a while.
Besides, 1024x768 with maxed out settings on CS:S looks pretty damn good.
So maybe I'll be going 20 over the...
