Pretty good.
That Q6600 will overclock to 3ghz easily.
Seagate hard drives are the best 7200 RPM you can buy. Get the 7200.10 hard drives if you do get Seagate.
Remember for that SCSI drive you'll need an SCSI controller card.
I am getting a new system this summer as well, but I am...
I need something to take a screen shot in Windows (not in games) because alt+prt scrn doesn't work. I tried FRAPS but that only works in games. Any ideas?
I added the things I want to the sync list and it won't let me hit the "Start Sync" button.
If it helps I just bought it and the Zune software has been searching for album info.
edit: When I add the music to the sync list does it automatically add the music to the Zune?
I have to wait till around May, but that'll give me an opportunity to save money with Intel price cuts and maybe an NVIDIA price cuts, and I could do a Newegg Preferred Account and pay for my build by working over the Summer. (How's a Newegg Preferred Account work?)
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600...
When I go to newegg none of the drop down menus work....I checked the error console and there is indeed errors for the drop down menus for my firefox. Should I just reinstall or is there an easier way to fix?

I would recommend spending a wee bit more and getting this:

Well I cleared my newegg cart and re-added everything and it ended up cheaper so I am gonna go with everything listed in post #1 but I am gonna get these:
Core 2 Duo E6600 or E6300
Biostar T-Force P965
Antec NeoHe 550W PSU or OCZ GameXStream 600W
and maybe some Patriot DDR2-800 with D9's
I'll work with these for a base and see what I can get:
E6300
Biostar T965P
Corsair DDR2-800
And prolly the Corsair 520W PSU or an OCZ 600W GameXStream
I think now is the time for everybody's Athlon XP to die...hopefully the one in my emachines can last long enough so my bro can build himself a gaming comp...
New PCs today use more power, but they execute tasks more efficiently using the least amount of power they possibly can. However, most of us (when I say us I mean OCers and gamers) don't really care about power consumption except when picking out a PSU and to see how much heat it will put out...
I just got to thinking, and why are people so worried about drive failure when hard drives have a very low probability of failure. I've only had 1 hard drive fail on me ever, and I have owned 8 computers :P
