the new finish is pretty fly, personally i like the compaq more but the compaq doesnt have 4 usb's and firewire.
basically, yes it's worth the extra 25
imho, sony's are money, as in overpriced money.
that + since core 2 duo is out, you might want to look at that rather than those old centrinos, but thats just me.
