I don't know why they set the shipment date so late, but this afternoon my local Apple store has both the 8GB and 16GB ipod Touch. Two-Three hours until I finally get to touch mine!
$299 for the 8GB ipod Touch sounds a little overpriced, given that the iPhone is only $399 for 16GB. But the iPhone also has a high cost for usage (AT&T service plan.) So I don't know. If I had $400 I would definitely buy the 16GB...but then, I would want a camera too for that amount of money!
I have a white Macbook, a 4G 20GB ipod, a Gen1 nano, and an apple keyboard. If I ever want to upgrade my computer, I think I will go with a high-end Apple portable computer, but that's going to be another few years.
I probably won't consider getting the iPhone until the second version is released. Also, I hope that there would be some kind of protection flip that is changeable for the screen.
I tried the program about a month ago, it's pretty good. But I think there is only one clip that came with the program when I got it through "macappaday" so I would only be able to listen to the same clip every night?
I have a 19inch monitor, a wireless mouse, and an Apple keyboard hooked up to a Macbook so that when I close the Macbook it does not go to sleep. But I have realized that when I move my mouse to wake up the Macbook I can move the cursor around, but when I try to click anything nothing would...

I have to Samsung NV10, it works great. But I think the NV7 is supposed to be better, although the lens is a little bulky so it would be hard to find a good size case to carry it around.
I don't have a solution to your problem, but, when I first got my 4G 20GB ipod (summer of 2004) I had a PC, but then I switched to a Macbook. But the ipod could connect/sync in iTunes on both computers with no problems.
I'd get the Herman Miller Aeron if there is a store nearby for me to try it out. But what I am really looking for is a chair with adjustable back cushion. Thanks.
Not until I read your post did I notice that the settings of my VX mouse is also different from what I set it at before....I used to "find" button to open up Google Search a few months back, but now it does not do anything when the button is clicked...
The best way is not to actually buy the ticket but just write down the numbers and match them with the winning ones to see if you could have won. 99% of the time you would be glad that you didn't actually buy the ticket. ^^
