To go along with this, I hate when you do yield the right of way to them, the people behind you sometimes block you from getting back in your original lane. That's always annoying.

Fortron BlueStorm 500W(460W) Fan noise too loud?

Figured it out. Somehow during replacing PSU, I turned up the speed of the cooling fan on my CPU. I have YS-TEch with variable fan speed controller. Adjusted it half way or so and much quieter. thanks for replies!

Fortron BlueStorm 500W(460W) Fan noise too loud?

UPDATED CPU fan was mistakenly turned up to a faster speed when doing swap out. HAve a YS-Tech Variable speed fan and the 'dial' had been turned almost 3/4 of the way up. Dialed it down back to 1/2 and much quieter. So it wasn't the PSU, just fan on CPU. False alarm. I just bought the...

!!!I NEED A CRT MONITOR!!!

I have a Diamond Plus 91, and yeah, at first, you are like, what are these lines for, but you get used to them. Only time I really notice them are on white windows, like Word. You don't notice them in games. IMO, you just get used to them and notice them less.

MY God!...Is there a simple way to reinstall DIRECT X 8.1 for WIN XP???

DarkFudge200, just do what hg403 suggested and it should fix your problem. Run dxdiag and disable Direct3D, close DXDIAG. Reopen DXDIAG then reenable Direct3d and there you go.. Takes what 2 minutes maybe at most? Compared to the person who suggested the reformat that takes 2-3...

I'm not sure on the different version numbers, but on your error message. Have you tried to increase the swap file size to a bigger number? Such as 1.5 times your memory size?
