VooDoo5 5500 or GTS Geforce2 w/ KX-133 chipset

I have a K7V as well, and have tried both the V5 5500 and the GF2 GTS. This never happened to me. What exactly is "flashing" across your screen? The only suggestion I could make is to check your recommended refresh rate for your monitor at whatever resolution you're running at...

I finally got my Win98SE system to work with DiabloII again after installing the 1.02 patch. I think just for the heck of it, I'll install the beta of DX8 on the ME HDD and see what happens. If there is anything interesting to note, I'll post it for you all...

DIABLO 2 IS SO FREAKING SLOW!!

In addition to installing the 1.02 patch, turn off the "Perspective" effect in the Video Options Setup. It helped cut down the choppiness for me. I had no problems when I was using a Voodoo5 5500 with this effect, but when I went back to the GF2 GTS and Voodoo2, this slowdown occurred.

Diablo 2 crashing and locking up --- please help!

The 1.02 patch fixed my problem of rebooting my pc upon Save & Exit. Although there was no indication in the release notes of fixing such problems, it somehow did. Hopefully it will stay this way when I fire it up tonite. Try the patch if you are still having trouble. It apparently fixes...

Does anyone know how to check if DX is working properly in WinME? I installed it last nite, and it didn't like me trying to add DX7a to it, even tho the Control Panel App says just version 7 (says the one on there is newer version than my DX7a). I am questioning the DX stability/compatibility...
