Suggestion for replacement power of old rig plz

hm.. that may sounds like a good idea. Quick question, how are you going to disable the fans inside? I'd guess I'll have to cut the wires to make it happen am i right?

forgot to mention i thow in an Artic Cooling Accelero X1 to replace stock fan/heatsink on 7800gt. And the system still sounds like a jet engine when leaving on 24/7 =.=

You are right Bob.. I did little research and X1900XTX might be a good choice for now. Compare to $600 7950GX2 I can get X1900XTX for around $450 and turn my res & AA all the way up. Guess saving some $$ for a DX10 video card will be a good choice then. Now, here comes my question. Will there be...
