Gateway 22"

Does the 22" exhibit any tearing/bleeding/ghosting/flashing like the 24"? My 21" sure didn't, so I am thinking of returning my 24" for a 22" to get back to a nice looking panel.

Gateway FPD2485W - beware

I have this Gateway FPD2485W as well, and I am on panel #2 in as many days. I have bad graphics shimmering, flashing, whatever you call it in WoW when my character moves. I can't stand it so I will be returning this monitor.

7900 GTO - SLI tearing in games?

Is there a way to make it work? SLI is totally useless to me if I get tearing. I have tried forcing triple buffering, v-sync, etc in the WoW profile, and I have gone to high quality and jacked everything to max, and it helps some, but I still see some tearing and "waving" when I am moving.

It is the Gateway 21" Widescreen FPD2185W @ 1680x1050. 60 is the refresh rate, and upping it to 75 in WoW didn't help, at least for the minute I tried it.

7900 GTO - SLI tearing in games?

I just installed my second 7900 GTO, and before this, my single 7900 GTO ran fine with no tearing. The easiest test for tearing is to stand in one place in WoW and simply hold down the left or right turn key. The screen will spin, and tear pretty badly. It didn't do this with one card, and it...

Well, I certainly didn't buy these cards because I wanted to overclock the heck out of them. Stock performance is awesome for the price, and considering I paid $45 shipped for the Asus A8N that the card (and soon cards) will be in, I couldn't be happier.

At this point, 8X SLI vs. 16X appears to be a myth as far as performance increases are concerned. I am running a 21" Widescreen at 1680X1050. If the processor chokes the system, I'll upgrade it.

Hmmm... I may sell mine before I ever use it. This board does SLI in 8x, 8x, and doesn't that mean that it will perform worse than 16x, 16x depending on the vid cards?
