I have had my core 2 (e6400)overclocked (3.2 ghz) for over a week now. I was randomly checking my temperatures and noticed my graphics card was at 100c ! (although still working fine) when i checked the card, the fan had stopped. I am ordering a new cooler but I was wondering if the fan stopped...
I have my e6400 slightly overclocked on a ds3 @ 2.56ghz
fsb: 320mhz
bus: 1280mhz
the memory is corsair XMS 4-4-4 12 ddr2 800
what is a better setup:
running it at fsb : Dram 4:5
400mhz
4-4-4-12
or
2:3
with slightly overclocked ram and 5-5-5 15 timings
what is the point of 1:1?

core temp says im at 47c
easy tune says im at 32c
is that good?

was holding out for a e6600 but gave into a e6400, im happy for the most part much better than my 3ghz prescott. now to decide what mb, cooler and ram to buy. i noticed that 5-5-5 12 corsair ddr2 800 and the 4-4-4 12 for a little more, which is better for overclocking, will it matter?
