Trying To Restore an Imaged Drive with Acronis

Are you trying to restore in Windows or through an Acronis Bootable Rescue Media? From experience, I've found it works better restoring from the bootable rescue media. You don't mention what happens during your attempts to restore the image.

P67 mobo - ASRock or Gigabyte?

That's probably what they did with the Extreme6 too. It showed up for sale on Newegg 2 or 3 days before I received an email. I bought my Extreme6 at $195 w/free shipping. I believe it's currently listed at $220 w/$10 shipping. Ouch...quite an increase.

Actually, if you buy a Sandy Bridge based Asrock board now the warranty is 2-3 years (depending on model). They extended the warranty an extra year if you buy one before June 30, 2011.

Dunno but it sounds like a problem with your router or the router's dhcp is not assigning your computers an ip address. Have you tried assigning static ip addresses within the same subnet as your router? Try doing that to see you if you can connect to the internet. If so, then your router isn't...

CM HAF Owners...Chime in

The front fan's LEDs can also be turned off on the 922. The power and hard drive LEDs aren't too bright on the 922 and if they did bother me, a little black electrical tape would cover them up nicely.

The Vendetta 2 I'm using is, I believe, taller than the Freezer Pro 7 and it fits easily. Although I had to remove one of the side fans because of the Vendetta's height. Whether the Freezer Pro 7 will fit your mobo or not might be another story. No reason a 4870 wouldn't fit either.

From my experience it's 10 installs on 10 different machines. I have Vista Ultimate installed on two different machines. One on an Intel E8400 box and another on an AMD X2 5000+, both using the same key. Had no problem activating each box online.
