also let me add, in todays extremely fast virus/worm/trojan world I believe that it is smart to run two virus programs at the same time. Of course this is just IMHO!!! as I am now running PC Cillin2003 with Bitdefender...

I have also had the pleasure of having this particular WORM my litte frigg'n WORM and to top it off I found it after I formatted my HDD with my DSL modem off and then installing PCCillon 2003. How the heLLLL I got it is beyond me.

its been a long night :) but my system had a few virus's that NORTONS didn't detect and how I got them I am not sure!! the big virus that I had that drove me nuts was the WORM called MSBLASTER... I now use PC-Cillin 2003 and everything is pretty much back to normal...whew!!!

Boot to the XP CD. Tell it to format the C: drive and install it there. it doesn't give me an options to format, infact it will only reinstall the OS by deleting the Windows folder (on the C:) but it will leave all the ohter folders on the C: unless there is something that I am missing?
