BIOS settings I used on my Gigabyte DS3 + E6400

To get mine 100% stable 10 hours dual prime, dual 32 Super PI, 5 hours ortho, 3d mark several times, bf2 for 6 hours, and HL2 games (css and dods) for 8+ hours, I had to use 1.45 vcore at 390fsb. Anything higher and it was stable in windows, but would fail post sometimes and reset the fsb...

Help!!!

heh, this was my first 775 build and my Zalman 9500 whooped up on me too... I was too overexcited, and put the whole thing together waiting on my processor so I had to install it inside the case lol. Luckly I was smart enought to put the bracket on first though =P

DS3 problem (please help!)

My DS3 will not take a bios flash from qflash, it seems to work, but then I reboot, set my OC back, head into windows and CPU-Z is showing f2 still. Is there any wasy to winflash these mobo's if so, is it safe enough?

I figured it out, it is not taking my new bios. I tried the f4c also, same deal. I am using the qflash from the bios menu.

Does anyone have a friggen clue as to what is more important?

unless your processor is the x6800 oc'ed to 5+ ghz, then it is not the king... Although I'm sure it is great =P

questions on ds3/6400

It seems like I'm not the only one requireing higher vcore and inceased mch and vdim for good overclocks so I'm not too worried about that anymore. However, I do not understand why my bios is being reported incorrectly inside cpu-z, and also I don't like that my computer failed to post even...

OC starting point w/ e6600, P5W DH, XMS2 6400C4

I personally think AS5 is better, but there isn't much real world proof of any of the paste being much better than anything other than generic brands. With my Zalman 9500 led I am running 400mhz on a e6400 at 1.45vcore and getting 40C temps during prime. But, I also have 2 case fans pushing...

I have a few questions. I am running an e6400 on ds3. 1. I flashed with the f3 bios from gigabyte?s website, but cpu-z still shows f2 2. I am running a dual sp stable, dual prime 8 hours stable system in windows, but occasionally bios will fail to boot and it will reset my clock frequency...
