    How do you get 1/x as the derivative of ln(x), cos(x) as the derivative of sin(x), etc. I know you can look at graphs and kind of notice that one function may be a derivative of the other, but is there an algebraic method of doing this?

    That is reassuring. As for the warranty, AMD voids it if you use AS5, so I'm not sure about Intel. Beachboy, when you said they don't kill the warrant, did you mean they don't void it because they don't know you used AS5 or that the use of AS5 has no impact on the warranty? Thanks for the help.

    Thanks. CoreTemp says cpu is 64 C under load, but when I touch the heatsink, its cool. Does the direction matter when you mount? I know this is a stupid question but I don't want to leave anything to chance. The CPU is an E6600 and the heatsink is stock.

    If I move my non-system IDE HDD from one computer to the other, will I lose the data on the drive? This drive is a slave HDD, and the only other IDE drive on the destination comp is a DVD-RW. Is it ok to keep the DVD writer as a master to the HDD? Thanks for the help.

    I wasn't sure because the Gigabyte Silentpipe 7600 gt has no fan, where as other 7600 gts do. The p180 has no intake fans in its default config and the card relies on cool air since its passive.
