Ok this is where I'm at i have my i have my QX6850 running at 3.4 using the following settings... multiplier at 10 running at 1360 (340) and a 800 FSB and my vcore is at 1.375 idle at 51 and under full load goes to about 57 58 are these temps ok plus the main question i have on the striker...
Well from what i can tell you i have the same chip and I'm on water and i idle at about 41 and under full stress load at about 49 to 50. max temp rating for our chip is 65. so being at 62 to 63 is pretty high but these chips do run a bit hotter due to the 65n chip.
I'm trying to figure out what settings to use for my QX6850 and Striker Extreme board. Its stock speed is 3.0 trying to see if i can get 3.6 is this doable for this board??I'm running Win vista Ultimate 32bit Ver. i have the lastest BIO update. Anyone can offer any help on what setting to use...

Ok this is what i came up with so far. i have a Sony VAIO VGN-FZ285U/B laptop with Vista Ultimate. i used the S-vid cable and got it to work just fine threw my REC. i just used S-vid to test it out to see if it would work. Worked great my TV does not have HDMI but does have DVI. But my REC. does...

Ok here the deal i have a Laptop that has HDMI and S-VID on the laptop my TV does not support HDMI, but i have a rec that all my vid and audio goes threw to my TV with HD cables. Now if i take a HDMI cable and run it threw my laptop to my REC. will this work on my TV or am i missing something...

My question is.. Not to sure if i should be concerned or not can anyone tell me that i have 2 8800 Ultra overclocked version running in SLI the temps are at 76C on 1 card and 79C on another should i be worried about these temps. keep in mind these are idle temps.
Its for a desktop i'm running 2 8800 ultra and its taking up all my space on my MB and need to go to USB its for watching SAT (Dish Network) TV and would like to record i have now a WINTV 150 PCI but have no room for it so i'm selling it and looking for something else that USB
Ok here a quick update are these safe temps i seem to be idling around 41C on my CPU my room temp is 24C and my GPU is 68C and my MB is 41C i did notice that my radiator fans were not running at full speed so i changed both fans for that i also reapplied some Arctic silver 5 and redid my block...
The way i did it was apply a small grain of rice size in the middle of CPU and than apply the block down on it??Also the fans that were installed in the case were already there.. The fans are not loud at all and i can barely hear them its very quiet.. Just to give you a example when i furst boot...

the case im using is the cos 1000.. so even witthe water cooling the temps can get this high..now please correct me if im wrong but i thought the max temp for the qx6850 is 70. the water is only doing the cpu and not the vid. cards.will these temps be safe for the cpu?
so you really think that my 8800ultras that im running is the problem so you think there a way to bring the temps down. so you think that my temps are low when i first boot up my pc but soon as the 8800 warm up is whats casusing the problem?
also just wanted to add this morning i turn my pc on for about 5 mins before i left for work and the cpu core temp was reading about 27 to 28 or so. you think this is because it has not been on long. lasnightemps to me were pretty scary the room temp last night was about 80.whashould i do?

well here the break down i use Vista 64 ultimate and when i just use 1 card it works fine when i put both cards in and i try to plug the monitor into the bottom card it doesn't show anything but if i put a single card on bottom PCI alone works fine but if i add both of them the bottom does not...

Well looks like the motherboard i was looking at getting does not support my QX9650 i have 2 8800 Ultra that I'm going to run SLI.. Whats the best board to get for this the Striker Extreme that i own now doesn't support the QX9650. So whats the best option to go with at this point?
Yep looks like this is true they will not have a BIO update for this board. So looks like i'll have to look for another board was really looking forward to using this board too.
I hope this is the case i have a Striker Extreme MB too and have 2 8800 Ultra just waiting to be built i should have my QX9650 this Monday.. I don't see why a BIO update won't fix this problem this board does support 45nm CPU.... so it says..
