This system isn't for me.. It will be used mostly for text. It was the cheapest one with DVI I could find. Was a bit tough taking that lovely 215tw back. But I think I'll wait and see what LED brings. :) *edit* And before I go LCD I want to see an LG L204WT-SF live.. (or similar TN)

my first LCD.. on loan for one day *joy* the picture quality of the analog inputs on the samsung 215tw is awful.. tried connecting my external digital TV reciever with s-video. maybe i did something stupid (wouldn't be unlike me at all) can anyone tutor me a bit about this, please :)...

cbreathe.. I think we're in the same seat. saw a Samsung 970p and that did it for me. now i'm ready to try LCD. the design of the 970p really screams Starck to me.. It's a piece of art in my eyes. I wish they'd release a widescreen model with the same looks. (and image Q)

The only reason I'm thinking about going LCD is that the quality these days is comparable to CRT (or better in some cases). After reading this review I'm thinking hard about investing in a 24'' Samsung 244T (or maybe wait for the 245T)...

I agree Zebo :) Keyboard&mouse is important to me too.. My Logitech DiNovo set was the best hardware investment I've ever made :) So was this 19'' Nokia CRT back in the days.. I just wish I could find the perfect LCD. One I don't want to get divorced from in 6 months.

Well my CRT has been with me for almost a decade. Don't expect a lifespan like that with my next monitor though. HDMI would probably be a good thing to have in the future. The lack of HDMI on the Samsung 215TW is worrying me a bit. And possible problems with 16:9 inputs being stretched...

Wow! What a thread :) I have no personal experience with LCD.. have seen them in action but never owned one. The only monitor I've ever owned is my current 19'' Nokia Multigraph 446Xpro. (don't count the old 12-15'' dinosaurs) Been following LCDs since day one. TN panels don't really do it...

My hdd(s?) becomes really slow and noisy after runnning prime(->reboot) otherwise stable at 295 fsb with ddr400. What's wrong with this mofo mobo??? Snakes? :)
