Keyboard error on boot for 2 different systems (same chipset)

Do I need a special DVD player to view High Definition?

PCI question : 66Mhz vs 33Mhz and 64-bit slots

New firmware for Sony DRU500A (1.0G)

This bumps DVD+R burning from 2.4X to 4X for the 500A. Interesting, because I'm about to buy the 500AX, which was the same price as the 500A, but offered 4X DVD+R burning. Now I'm not sure what other advandtage the 500AX has over the 500A. Thanks for the post.

Booting off an external drive?

Is is possible to boot off an external drive, such as a USB 2.0 or Firewire drive? My initial thoughts are that specific drivers must be loaded before the external drive is accessible, thus the answer is probably 'no'. Am I mistaken? Thanks
