The Chip has a # that starts with L6## mine is a E6600 L624A784 so the L624 states is week 24, im also pissed that even tho i let time pass and newegg restock their E6600 they sent me this week 24 and people that ordered the same day (8/30/06) got week 27. T_T
Im reading some posts in Xtreme Systems about some week 28 Conroes 6600 can be overclocked to 4ghz, now I want to know if a Non Overcloked Week 24 Differs from a Week 27/28 one? or do you only see the difference if you overcloak them?

One reviewer stated: Cons: DOES NOT come Core 2 Duo compatible. You WILL have to flash the bios. Notice the sticker says Core Duo compatible, NOT Core 2 Duo, so if you're using a Conroe processor you'll have to flash your bios.

Is modular PSU bad? I ordered an Ultra X2 550 watt for my conroe E6600, thinking in buying the Gigabyte DS3 with a cheap PCI Express Video card ill be using a raptor 10k RPM sata HD and a Barracuda 320gb sata HD. Will i have trouble with this PSU?
