Hi Guyzz, I got managed P5b Dlx to work in SLI mode. (yes SLI) I had to use hacked driver to get SLI working. I use evga 7900GT(500/1700) and XFX 7900GT(470/1400) and OCed both cards to 540/1600. I have my E6400 Oced to 3.4Ghz (1.4vcore). When I run 3Dmark06, I only get 6200 !!! Waaaaay...

E6400@3.4GHz 53Celcius idle with Big Typhoon???

It seems to me that people @ 3.4Ghz with vcore 1.4~ getting around 50C idle/62-64 load temp readings. I guess I am not only one getting close to 50C idle temp. (so it is expected temp). So I lowered my OC to 3.2Ghz(400x8) and 1.3V vcore (1.26 actual), and my idle temp is somewhere around 45C...

I have p5b Deluxe (non Wifi) with E6400 running @3.4Ghz (425x8). I've set my vcore to 1.4 in bios, but CPUZ reports 1.36. I use Zalman 9500LED @max fan speed (AS5 is applied),and TAT and Core Temp reports 50C Idle/64C load. (orthos and dual prime95) but AI gear shows 49C/62C Motherboad temp...

You mean p5b vanilla won't recognize your IDE DVD drive? If so, I've RMAed to newegg and picked up p5b deluxe which solved my problem. I strongly recommend to get another board.

Fan Speed control

I have Zalman 9500 LED for my E6400 cooling. WHen I updated Asus AI tool to latest version, Zalman only spins 1400rpm (lowest) even though I have set to max speed from the remote. So I uninstalled the latest version and reinstalled the AI tool from CD. (I did clean up registry). However, the...

Is your bios displays your IDE device (dvd drive)? I can't find it in my bios setup screen. I see one recognized SATA HDD in SATA 1 slot. I have Zalman 9500 LED fan power cable connecting to chas fans because Zalman fan power cable is 3pin and M/B connector is 4 pin. I don't think this...

Thanks. PATA was enabled and reseted to original 0170 bios.However it does not work. I've also tried cable select, but no success. I think i have a bad M/O. The manual says DMA cable and the cable says HDD cable. Is DMA cable same as IDE cable and PATA cable. I am very confused.
