Had something weird happen with my P5B Deluxe- Wifi last night. System has been up and running for 4 weeks now, but last night my keyboard and mouse suddenly died. I had just reinstalled windows XP to get the AHCI stuff working - performance is noticeably faster than the IDE...
Thanks for all the suggestions with my problems. I tried them all, but ultimately RMA'd the board. Since I couldn't wait on the return process and needed to verify it wasn't my OEM 6600 chip before my 15 day exchange no questions warranty was up, I ordered a P5B and some DDR2 ram. No problems...
I tried an Nvidia FX 5200 AGP board - that didn't work either. Tried an old ATI pci card, no go there either. It doesn't even boot the 64 bit Celeron 2.93 either. Since I can't be guaranteed what bios this board is going to ship with, I guess I'll stop the bleeding now and get a more Conroe...

-I've cleared the CMOS many a time. I can't gt into the BIOS because I can't POST yet. Usually you have to go through the memory check before you can get into the BIOS...
