Definatly shloud of bought the delux version of this board so much more info about it than vanilla.
For those running vanilla P5B and cosair PC6400 I have am running fine at 2.1v no problem. FSB is 325MHz timings suck though and are, 5-6-6-18. In the BOIS I have it set to DDR2-533MHz...

The difference is the latency, some where I have seen ultra low latency versions which are around £329 ($600). I have the 1Gb kit of 5-5-5-12 timings cost £67 ($120) work fine...

I am using probe 2, and then checked with a thermacouple. Probe 2 is reading on average 5 degrees high for me, some have measured a degree over reading probe 2 though.

The board does not support 1GHz ram, the fastest it does is 800MHz.

ya I should get an artic freezer pro 7 tomorrow. Plus some braiding for all the dam wires coming from my new PSU, which currently block the top intake and front intakes really badly.
I can't use 0609 because I have a vanilia P5B and 0309 is the latest BOIS for my board...
ya try the celeron root or RMA the board and have them flash it for you thats what I did and save myself £50.
I do have to say I am very closing to selling this baord on E-bay and going for 975x based board. They seem to overclock much easier and better.
Get an audigy 2 zs they are cheap these days and have tons of features.
Anyway back to topic. I have managed to get a stable 400Mhz FSB running with memory set at DDR2-533MHz and 2.1v. (coorsair twinX PC6400 1Gb kit), however thats with a x7 multiplier if I go any higher the system does not...

I have the same issue with the chassis fan 2. It report sin probe has not running but in teh bOIS is reports as running and I can see it running.
My AI suite does even open so I am not too happy with the sofware bundle to be honest.
