In CRT montiors 120 hz means the screen is updated at 120 FPS. It is a lot smoother then 60 hz which is only updated 60 FPS. I have been told many times (although now I'm beginning to think they are wrong) that in LCD the 60 hz was just there but had no reflection on the smoothness, only...

Turn off request response by default in outlook?

Is there a way to do this? Every time you create a new meeting request by default request response is on. Is there a way to turn that off in the settings?

Outlook issue

Dragged a folder from one to the other, outlook is not responding but the pst keeps getting bigger if I end outlook will the file I drug still be there or will it be messed up? Does outlook make sure it copies everything before it would delete the original?

Windows vista, disappearing local ports

Freezer trick

Hehe, well they aren't my HD's actually. The freezer trick did not work for me. Same exact issue, computer becomes unresponsive while trying to access the drive with any program I try to use. Oh well, I guess I will just let the drive sit for a while and hope that in a couple of days...

New Build...No Sound? Would appreciate some help!

The "other devices" is most likely your sound card. You could try double clicking on it, go to the drivers tab, tell it to update driver, install from a list or specific location, check the box to specify a specific location and try to find the audio drivers folder.

Hard drive error question

My windows stopped booting. I ran seatools on the seagate hard drive, it went through the long scan and found 1 error. Would it be safe to try to fix the error and then reinstall windows or am I asking for my windows to crash again? Is 1 error enough to justify replacing the drive?

My system is fairly beefy, why does an old game like WoW

I have a feeling it's their code that sucks, someone mentioned that they had a 3870 and quad core not even overclocked and got better fps then some of you. Makes it sound like it may be at least partialy a CPU issue. Also I'm sure you guys have tried /console timingmethod 2 does that make a diff?

Resolution issue.

sound card reccomendation?

Do not buy any card with X ram on it, it crashes UT3. Oh yeah, I have an audigy 2 right now and I love it, you can use the advanced settings to slide up the bass and treble I love that feature, makes the sound so much better. I've had it for a long time and it so far has served me well.
