Going to try these chrome tweaks ... Dont have much extensions and have ad blocking installed (ad guard)

Many valid points guys. Let me address a few issues:
i) Since I was building a PC from scratch (previous build was a core2 duo E6600 lasting 10+ years with addinig ram changing GPU), I had to cut some corners. I thought it would be lag free while browsing and you tubing.
ii) I didnot expect...
Use is multi tasking
- usually 60+ threads open in chrome, including some youtube, fb etc ....
- running mumu (android emulator) to play games.
- downloading stuffs
The PC does get sluggish with many chrome tabs open...
edit: mobo is non Z. So limited OC available...
Made a rig when the I3 7100 debuted. Was so happy with it and was tired of ever waiting for AMD. 10 months later ryzen was born and I was left thinking what could have been!!
Thinking that I will not upgrade my setup in the next 5-7 years, I was thinking of dropping a 7700/7700K in its place...
I have no cooling strategy tbh. My basic needs was space to insert my HDDs. If a casing is better, bling does not really matter. And why the Corsair over those 2? These 2 other comes with internal fans too....

Well what is weird is they gave other speeds compatibility. I don't think the RAM speed is going to matter much for me. I'm going with the cheapest option. As long as it will run, I'm OK with it. Thanks

Looking to buy one of those Asus boards locally,

https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H110M-K/
They look like the exact same model...so no clue why different letters.
The RAM I am looking to buy is the Corsair Vengence 2X8GB kit reference...
Thanks guys. The G4600 was priced at $123 vs the i3 7100 $153. (shipping cost me $35, original price $88 and $118). I went with the i3 7100.
For $30 extra, I think I'll benefit more down the road with the extra 300MHz and AVX2. :)
Cheers! Now onto mobo/ram :D
Budget is not huge really. Max of $500 for casing, mob, ram and CPU. If I can squeeze a ssd in, all good. Else, I'll reuse the one I got.
Really wanted the kabylake for the better graphics. I'll cut ram from 26GB tom8Gb. Won't really need 26 I suppose....

I'm done investing on stop bit solutions on this slow molass. Unfortunately, I can't get a G4600 for under $110 online at t moment but can get a kabylake i3 7300 for $150. This one looks good too clocked at 4Ghz..

All 3 looks good to me honestly. Considering I have 3 internal HDDS, 2 SSDs and 2 DVD Drives, which would you choose and why? Thanks

CPU is 100% OK. Started having mobo issues with its ram slot (2 out of 4) no longer working. Then it would randomly start or not start and require a number of retries to work. 1 ram slot has gone bad (lol).
The last time it booted, I was getting artifacts on the screen making me suspect a...
Yeah. I was figuring out if it was worthwhile to hold on to Ryzen....The quicksync and integrated graphics is a plus for me (lower power consumption and noise). About i5 2400, is I do not want to buy used parts as I am a rather heavy user (24/7 PC running) and think new parts will serve me better.
My Old Core 2 Duo PC just died. Too many failings to write about.Simply stated, it just wont POST now.
It died at a very bad time (prior to AMD ryzen release) which is still an unknown.
The new Kabylake G4600/4620 CPU is looking good for what I intend to use the PC for.
i) Power browsing...
Upgrade cost: $17.
Just had a read on AT today and it marks the 10th year anniversary of the C2D CPUs. Still using the E6600. It's starting to get a bit long in the tooth and even Chromes uses so much CPU. :D
Worth upgrading to a Q6600 for one more year until AMD releases its ZEN CPUs or...
Yes I bit my fingers once about 3 years ago when my main 250GB HDD crashed and I had no backup of 6 years worth of files which I can no longer obtain. What is more annoying is that I kept getting warnings about hard disk click sounds and 1-2 rare occasional freeze ups.
Never really trusted Seagate. Have a WD 1TB green at 39,000 hours currently and a 3TB WD Green at 19,000 hours power on. What is more funny is that the Green label is their most 'unreliable' HDDs :)
WD/Hitachi/Toshiba for me.
Yes. I needed one on a budget too for my bro and this is the best I could come up with. I'm living with the Samsung 840 which I bought last year when they were heavily discounted. Even with the firmware issue and less quality NAND, I find the performance great going from a mechanical HD.
Heck...
Oh damn. Excludes India. I would guess many 'bad payers' there. Mostly cheapos making fake claims. Its a GUESS. Don't grill me on that.
You could try newegg.... They ship to India AFAIK...
