I realize times are tough and not everyone can be particularly choosy when job hunting but kimchee411's statement here was right on:
"Of course there are some employers who are more impressed by certs and paper credentials and don't value the opinions of non-managerial staff so much, but...
I ordered online and chose In-Store Pickup. I asked to apply the 12% off coupon and the girl behind the counter told me she couldn't apply it to the original online purchase She just cancelled the online order and gave let me buy it with the coupon...she nor I noticed the verbage about no...
I moved my logitech z-680s over to the tv/360 at christmas time and picked up some promedia 2.1's as replacements. The 680s are very good speakers after some tuning. The promedia's blow them out of the water.
I think it's hard to judge any speakers in an environment outside of where you'll...
My refund took more like 6 months. When it came, I thought they had credited my card twice. I had to go back through my amex statements to realize that they had my $400+ for that long...
It's still very tempting to order from them. Low prices and no sales tax for us in CA.
You're probably going to need to call to get anything done about your refund. No exaggeration here...it took nearly 6 months for Monarch to put credit back on my Amex. It had been so long that when I saw the credit, I first assumed it was a mistake and that they had credited my account twice.
I didn't use the rear screws. I can't imagine the power supply coming loose...It was almost a 2 person job getting the side screws in, it was so tight.
I don't think Fry's or Outpost sell OEM raptors...
Hopefully the existance of the rebate means that Fry's will have them on sale in-store in that $150 AR range...I've been waiting on one of those deals for a while.
Maybe just being anal here, but the Share part of your explanation bothers me. If I have ntfs permissions set for myself, there are two ways i can get to a shared folder remotely. I can skip the share completely and goto something like "\\fileserver\c$\shared folder" and if I also have...
Sometimes I wish these weren't anonymous message boards...
For those of you other than this jackass, yes, there were 8 of these same cards on Best Buy's shelf in Tustin, CA.
chumbo doesn't even have the BFG 6800 PCI-Express cards on their website anymore. The linked deal above is for an AGP 6800GT...
It may be hard to say that the price makes this a hot deal, but the availability alone makes it at least warm for those that really want these cards...
Hot enough that I'd recommend it to someone looking for a prebuilt computer...not hot enough for me to buy as a second system.
That version of the XPS was too huge and noisy for me when I had a friend's at my house to configure. I'm sure he spent at least twice this price for a similarly...
I can't remember exactly how long I've had them, but it has to be at least 6 months...no problems...
I personally wouldn't make the purchase again, but if I really couldn't spend any extra money for the good stuff I'd have to consider the fact that the only game I play(Everquest 2) runs much...
That's funny...I have two Sonatas, one that I bought when they were first available, and one that I bought during this deal. The newer powersupply is nicer, but the build-quality of the case has deteriorated drastically. My old Sonata is very solid. My new Sonata has issues with rattling and...
Depends on how you define 'latest and greatest'. I would have agreed that the latest and greatest wasn't worth it when I couldn't afford to blow a few hundred dollars here and there, but now that I'm making decent money it seems kinda stupid not to. I still consider it a waste to go out and...
I bought a 2001FP last week with an original ship date of 9/1...They called me yesterday and said that the ship date would have to be pushed back to 9/17. =(
Finally ordered my 2001FP. =)
The employee purchase operator didn't want to let me use both coupons, and I didn't feel like arguing with her...with payroll deduction, I'll only be losing $148 per paycheck...I can't wait!
I'm not sure about the scrambling, but I've had no trouble using the Catalyst 4.3 drivers(WindowsXP) with Server2003. I'm sure Catalyst 4.4 would be fine as well...I'm just too lazy to update this machine. I'm using a 9700pro, btw.
The error you typed out is the same one that comes up when a temporary Terminal Services CAL's time limit is up.
I'm no expert on terminal services, but if you'd like you can go into the registry editor and delete this key(backup first): HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSLicensing. That...
I'm trying to use the Office Custom Installation Wizard to speed up the deployment of computers to new users. I'm most interested in Outlook being set to use Exchange, automatically choosing their mailbox with %username%, and having a standard layout of the message panes.
My attempts at...
If the SATA controller is built into the motherboard, I would assume there is an option to boot from SCSI. That is what you'd want to choose if you are going to boot from SATA.
I paid for it, my drive died, their response was that their records show i put it in my cart but never paid for it. Those files required a username and password to view, anyways...I wish they'd just try my username and password to see that I bought their product and their records are wrong.
I just got a Raptor to replace my Maxtor 160GB/8MB drive that replaced my 80GB Barracuda IV.
Each of the harrddrives has been the loudest component in my systems when I was using them, and I've noticed very little difference between the three of them. The Raptor is definitely louder when...
I think they stopped charging for will-call a while back. I haven't been charged the last few times, and can't find an item to add to the cart that doesn't say free will-call.
Only $237 at allstarshop...http://www.allstarshop.com/shop/product.asp?dept%5Fid=339&pid=7433&sid=F817DUKT81798GAVA2QEKA1J2G05EK8A.
It's pretty rare that allstarshop isn't cheaper than all the other respectable shops for ATI cards.
