DNS problem (I think)

I'm sure everyone around here has heard about audiosurf by now, right? Ok, well when the first beta weekend ended, i was disappointed, and found out how to continue playing. So iadded the audiosurf to my hosts file(and with a little help from fiddler), and it worked, i could play in "offline"...

Which X-fi to get?

how about the Auzentech X-Fi Prelude? its basically the best soundcard out there at the price range, and it has all of the goodies that come with an X-Fi DSP.

no it performs totally fine, and im ok with the lack of two side buttons, although maybe they'll send me the G5 v2 with 2 side buttons lol when i send it in. :)

I just checked on newegg, where i purchased it, and its still eligible for rma, what i meant about getting one for cheap is for while im waiting for the replacement to return lol.

Yes USB, it either didnt come with a PS/2 adapter or its at home, I've tried installing the logitech mouse drivers, the newest ones of course, and it didnt help a bit. I guess I'll just return/rma it, hopefully i can find something decent for cheap :D.

HELP my mouse randomly turns off and on!

well, the light turns off completely, but within a second or two it comes back, it's just temporary. Its not a motherboard problem either because I've tested all of the ports with the keyboard and mouse, and it's just the mouse that stops working. Anyway i can fix the cable perhaps?

HELP my mouse randomly turns off and on!

My problem is just what the title says. Starting a week ago or so, my logitech G5 has been randomly turning off and on, sometimes when i boot up it doesnt occur at all, but sometimes it happens constantly. Another strange phenomenon is that when i turn the mouse upside down it always turns off...

the campaign doesnt require the original, but in multiplayer you can only play the seraphim with just the expansion

Need a new computer to last 4 years.

Thanks trevant about the printer info, I guess I won't need one of those. Anyways, about the quad-core, I want this computer to last as long as possible, in the future most games will require at least a dual-core to run well (Supreme Commander is a good example) and I do a lot of multitasking...

CORSAIR CMPSU-520HX PSU

The Corsair PSU's are really good, I bought one for my friend a couple of months back, and it has worked perfectly. Keep in mind, if you buy one though, PC Power & Cooling PSU's are still better choices even though they're not modular and they're rally bulky.

Wrong RAM voltage

ok, i got the prices wrong, sorry, if anyone wants it we can sell it for $125 it's the green colored one that's going for $140 thanks a bunch, i'll it with my RAM once we get a new cpu fan also. lol

cod2 server refresh problem

earlier today, i was trying to connect to a call of duty 2 server through xfire, but the "loading map" progress bar locked up, and nothing happened. Also, i tried to connect to the same server through cod2 (not xfire), but when i tried to refresh the server list, no servers came up

my friend's computer is acting really strangely, it boots up aand moments after xp loads, it shuts down automatically. I've already tried just about everything. I was wondering if anyone knew about some kind of virus scan cd that i could boot off of. He doesnt want to reformat but ive tried...

Need an MMO with private servers, free or low monthly fee

guild wars is a great idea (no pvp untl lv20) whatever anyone says do not play Conquer Online, it has some of the worst pking you'll ever see
