Weird problem

Yes, I tried that. I'm thinking it's definitely the video card. I just tried a different PCI Express card from a shop, and things worked perfectly. I guess that I'll have to RMA this card.

Video Upgrade: Current PC speed is bottlenecked.

BFG This BFG one above is a pretty damn good deal. Were I you, I'd probably opt for that one. If you want to snag an EVGA (step up program, overclock) one, there's also one of those for like $50 bucks more.

Are you going for Nvidia 680i and G80 or will it be Ati RD600 and R600

I went with the G. Skill RAM that n7 has in the first link, and can say that it's been flawless thus far. I can't really see you going wrong with any of the RAM that he linked you. The build that you're considering is similar to the one that I just put together, and it looks good. Happy Hunting...

Yes, I'm going to crossfire in the future. Not sure when, but I'll probably stick with that until DX10 cards are more mature. I really like my monitor, and never really had any problem with it, and would recommend it to anyone. I already had the sound card, monitor, and GPU. All of the rest...

An upgrading dilemma - cheap Dell or nice ABS? (long)

I don't know. The case has gotten pretty good reviews, and I've seen people around here mention it. Seems like it has nice functionality for the price, but that's just me. I'll see how it is.

What MoBo?

Bump, because I'm interested in seeing people's opinions myself. From everything that I've read, and the recommendation that Mr. Fox made, I would think the deluxe and premium ones he linked to would be the best bet myself.

Sound card

If you're getting new speakers, then I would get the X-FI Extreme Music. I have it myself, and the sound it puts out is really great. I haven't had any bad experience with this s. card, knock on wood.
