I've got a Zalman CNPS9500 heatsink. I was hoping it would keep the cpu a bit cooler but maybe my overclock has a lot to do with the heat. Case temp is around 40C, NB doesn't get any higher than 49C. CPU usually around high 40s or low 50s when idle. Can get over 60C with full load. When I...

Whenever I try to OC over 3.1GHz and run Orthos I get this error.... 2:FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4 2:Hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file. Any idea what the cause of this is? I tried upping the Vcore but that didn't seem to do it.

Alright. I just installed a new cpu heatsink (ZALMAN CNPS9500), new SB heatsink (ZALMAN ZM-NB47J), and attatched a suspended fan pointing directly on the NB. My temps have been lowered around 10-15 degrees. It looks like I am ready to start overclocking a little more. We'll see what this 6600...

Well it looks like I am going to flash to the latest BIOS. I can't remember getting the latest chipset drivers so I will install those too. Should I do it after or before I flash? Or does is not matter?

20" Monitor Questions

You particular card supports resolutions up to 2048x1536 @ 85Hz. I am not sure of the max resolution of onboard video but any graphics card you pick up can handle the LCDs resolution.

sound card for gamers?

At this moment in time there is not many games that benefit off XRam. As with all new technology the software needs to be patched and made compatible with this new technology. Plus Fatality doesn't make the greatest of products, yet seems to charge you out the ass for them.
