Hmm, I think that worked (no error so far). Now I have the code I'm trying to integrate in *.cpp, and existing code in *.c, but I need a way to access functions from cpp to c code. How can I do this? Because if I do the #include again, wouldn't it give me an error?

I believe there's a script for Makefile to compile anything in *.c using gcc, and *.cpp using g++. And the file I was trying to modify is a *.c so I'm guessing it was compiling in gcc and giving me error when I added C++ code in. I'll try find a way around this and compile, and let you...

Computer Doesn't Turn On

My main computer (about 3 years old) doesn't turn on from a cold boot till I turn off the PSU first, wait about 10s, and turn on the PSU. Is there something wrong with the PSU (maybe it's dying)?

Vista screensaver dodgy

I don't have burn-in on my 4 years old vp191b, but it has horrible image retaining problem. (ei. any static images remaining on the screen for at least 5 min takes about 1-2 hours to go away. Also, when I used to play WOW hardcore the GUI literally remained on the screen for days)

Total Noob question: Is an off lease X3 a good idea?

GO parking lot full of nice cars... Only ones I can think of is Clarkson (well half full of nice car), Port Credit, Finch (maybe), Langstaff and Unionville. Guessing you live in port credit/clarkson/erin mill area and work in Markham/upper Toronto area. :) But then I could be completely wrong.

Does the name of your university matter?

Waterloo is a well known Canadian engineering/math school, but just as other already mentioned it's usually the program+name that matters and doesn't mean much after you gain some experience. Btw, one thing about Waterloo is its co-op program where you study-work-study-work-etc for 4 months...

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I live in Canada so my option is bit limited. :( I'm actually leaning towards to get a 2.1 system and slowly upgrade my way up. Another option I'm thinking is getting Onkyo HT-SR800 which I can pick one up for around $500~ locally.
