    In D2, even after hitting 99, you just kept on grinding and farming. That was the whole objective of the entire Diablo series. There was less emphasis on "lore" and more on obtaining the perfect RNG items.

    FPS drops are most likely sound/audio issues. The game had problems back in beta with audio where it causes random battles to drop to low fps on high end comouters. I fixed this problem by swithcing my sound card with my onboard sound when the game kept dropping to 10 fps randomly.

    After my MS in comp eng in 2009 - first job 2009-2010: 40k; - second job 2010: 58k; - current job: 79k. I'll be 84k/yr next month. If I continue, by Dec 2012, I'll be at 88-89k/yr and teleworking at home. Degrees do help, at least the useful ones.
