yah, all the software drivers are the same, and so are the settings in win2k. i havent benchmarked, but the FPS is lower in counter-strike. havent messed with the bios yet either, what settings would be good?

thats odd, in the BIOS it says it has a front side bus of 100, with a multiplier of 18, but wcpuid shows something else.. im using an asus p4t-e

yo, my northwood 1.8A idle temperatures are 47 degrees celsius, with default HSF and default thermal paste. the motherboard temperatures are at 23C. you guys have any suggestions of how to decrease the temperatures, cause they're really annoying, since at max load the temperatures go up as high...

ouch, i have 48 degrees celsius idle, non overclocked, using the default HSF and default thermal pad that was on it. if i wanted to add arctic silver on instead for better temperatures, how would i remove the default thermal pad on it?

yeah i already have a netgear network card that i can use. but anyways, yeah i think i'll go with DDR then. it's a few dollars cheaper, but would the asus p4b266 be a good choice? also which of the DDR ram sticks should i use? non-ecc or ecc,heh, 10 dollar difference.
