NO kidding. It's so ridiculous it's laughable. If I go DELL i go to the outlet store. At least prices their are somewhat more in tune with what street prices for the various parts that make up a desktop.

Damn. And I lost my stinking XP restore disc that came with my old Dell. That's an extra 100$ bucks for an OS for a new build. Kicking myself right now!!!

Okay. Simple question: Comp 1 has a HD that has windows xp installed. If I want to build a new comp, can I just take out the HD from Comp 1 and put it in the new comp. Will it work? Will it boot? Pretty much: new mobo, cpu etc. But old HD from an old comp. Doing so to avoid having...

Q6600, 6700, 9300 or 9450? Which is best for me?

Soyo 24" for $279.99 @ Officemax online and B&M

I've had mine since Nov of last year. All the talk about over heating, blacklines, dead pixels........got me worried. No problems to date. Absolutely love it. This panel is so much better than the Acer 24" that i also about and then returned. Very happy customer here.

IT'S BACK 24" Soyo LCD for $299. @ Office Max is back

Picked one of these bad boys up. No dead pixels, flickering pixels or lines across the screen. I love it. The display is clear and crisp and it's HUGE. Compared to my 22" Acer, there's no comparison. Great deal.
