Yeah it will do. For now I'd concentrate on getting your temps down at stock speed. Once you have them down to a good level, then consider overclocking. You should try to get your temps at stock down to about 35-40C idle, and 45-50C load. I'd try playing around with the above first though...

I wouldn't use the Auto setting with the DS4. I've got a DS3 and it'll set it to what it feels is right. It's stock rating is 1.325v. Maybe try set the power settings to manual (leave them as Auto if you wish), but try dropping the VCore. Keep dropping it until the sytem isn't stable. It'll...

E6300 Still Running Hot

Got my Vcore down to just over 1.15v and it runs stable overclocked to 2.8Ghz. I've got the 12cm fan on the Ninja at about 600rpm, and both case fans at 5v, and idle temps are 40C, load 52C. If I take the side of the case off, and up the fans to 7v, it all drops another 2-3C. So all in in...

Gigabyte S3 North Bridge HOT!!!!!!!!!!!

Even with the side panel off the temperatures don't improve much. The air coming out of the back is barely warm. I can't see it being the case. It's been fine with every other build I've had, even a Prescott.
