    Where is Anandtech's P45 motherboard review?

    This Chinese website overclocks an E8600 ES to 530Mhz FSB on an ASRock P43 motherboard: HKEPC Hardware It was only testing "Super PI" and not something like Prime95 ... but the gist is that there doesn't seem to be any artificial FSB limits on P43.

    According to AsRock website, this motherboard supports E4300/E4400(L2)/E6320/E6420 since BIOS P1.40, and E4500(M0)/Q6700(G0) (and I assume E4400(M0)/Q6600(G0) too) since BIOS P1.80. If I put a E4500 into a motherboard with an older BIOS, will it at least boot and run well enough for me to flash...

    Yes that's the "266FSB pin mod"; I'm looking for confirmation that it realy works even on a Dell.

    Just wondering if it is possible to overclock the Dell (or other "non-overclockable" big OEM machines) by doing the "266FSB pin mod" to the E4300? If yes it would run at 2.4Ghz. (The newer Dell Inspirons use the G33 chipset, which is quite attractive for a budget machine, as G33 supports...

    When overclocking a E2160/E4300/E4400 to ~290-300 FSB with this board, are there any issues with any peripherals/ports like floppy/SATA/IDE/PCIe/PCI/AGP/network/audio not working? e.g. are there issues like "you must disable SATA/network/audio etc. because it is running too much out of spec"...
