some one posted a youtube video today..
tube link
looks like it works as an external drive too :D.
yeah should work with play on line the cinetube, so hulu, netflix.. whatever listed on their site.
yeah.. pop corn hour is like twice more expensive. I ordered mine already.. let's wait for it to show up. For me i don't really care about you tube and other online media, i only want HD playback. Don't see the purpose watching less than SD on my HD tv.
oops... striped not stripped hahah. yeah was running raid 0. I like to have at least 128GB for an OS drive.
but for notebook single 64 should be good enough.. I am still waiting for my S10 from a while back.. suppose to ship on 9/23. any one else got theirs yet?
I think fry's had the WD...
2 x 64GB stripped
OS drive, fresh install 64bit ultimate
faster bootup, faster app loading time. I use a lot of spread sheets for work, and it did loadup files with large amount of formulas faster.
My recommendation to go either 32gb or 64gb raid option for OS, unless you have enough money...
good news.... both drives are working fine.. no random freez or any thing. I've been running crysis for a 3 hrs or so with out any issues. Also tried running multi app at the same time, itune, excel, adobe photo shop, IE, no problems at all. So I guess it may be limited to the OCZ drive only...
woot.. got my drives deliverd on Friday, zip shipped them pretty quick. I called in for the price adjustment after they dropped it the following day. took about 20 mins on the phone, but wasover all painless :).
anyway.. put them in, running strip right now drives installed vista ultimat...
Well i think all things consider.. every thing seems to be pointing at the OCZ drives. I dont' see any other MLC based drives getting the same amount of flame as theirs. May be they just dropped the ball (not the first time any way)? seems like there is still amount of ppl are getting good...
guy said there was two revision for the Jmicron 602 controller.. the rev A is a piece of crap.. (appearently so according to anandtech) but they are using the rev B.
My drive has been shipped, so give prob will be here on Friday, i'll see how real is the thing. But yeah.. the tech support...
yeah.. but the OCZ core drive uses the old Jmicron controller, the ones from patriot uses the new version, spec is very much different..
i think there is a review on computer shopper some where.. it was rated higher than the OCZ core drives
Just dropped again, and now 32GB in stock. These rated at 175MB/s Read/ 100 MB/s Write.

the Corsair 750 is a nice unit, i remember they used to make by seasonic (not so sure now). But the nice part about it.. you don't have to deal much about the rebates. I think they only have a $10 MIR and rebate dated 30 days. Price i think is running $109 AR @ newegg, so no extra $ on tax either.
yeah.. 35 mir.. i try to stay away from big MIR items now. Got almost $300 in rebates took almost 4 months to clear it up.
i got Patriot Viper cas 4-4-4 for $79 After $10 rebate at zipzoomfly. Those are some sweet design memory.. looks sick in the system!
man.. i bought the damn thing just a month ago paying almost twice as much!!!
any way... does CAS 7 if you pump up the juiece a bit, runs great me.

i have 4 gb running on xp 64.. damn thing is smooooooth... although software is a pain
All ddr2 800, 1066 are all upbinned. It's normal to up the voltage to get it to higher spec. Even corsair ram advertised test spec at 2.1-2.2. Not because the memory you see are true 800... because they are not. Manufactures do that to cover their own ass :).
Again.. I am not quite sure how...
