Strange video glitch, new build

Just built my system and I thought all went well, now I've got this weird glitch. In the upper right hand corner the image appears to be magnified and delayed at times. It's hard to explain so I've added a video. Video isn't great, towards the end in the upper right hand corner. Pulled video...

Is pc building a dying trend?

Having been out of the game for years, I spent a lot of time trying to pick quality parts. However it really seems like it's a crap shoot being that it appears most of the industry re-badges the same or similar products. Not to mention, customer reviews either help or hinder the process...

Keep old hd or ditch it?

If I'm not mistaken a normal hdd never maxed out sata II capacity? If that's the case what do I gain my going to sata III with another mechanical drive? Will I know the difference between a 3 gbs vs. A 6 gbs when coupled with an ssd? I'm going from an Amd Sempron dual core 2.2 to an I5-4690k...

Building a new rig with a small Intel ssd (120 gig), question is should I keep my old 250 gig s-gate? The seagate is a 7,200 sata 3 gbs, will it slow my system down? Would I benefit from a newer 1 tera on sata 6 gbs?

Best card around $130?

I guess my real question is, would I be able to run a 270x, 280, 7950 etc... that requires two pci connectors? My supply only has one pci connector, I know I can run a molex to pci but my supply is a dual rail... is that an issue?

I have no preference on Nvidia vs Amd, however I've never owned an Amd card and know nothing about them. I'm not overclocking the cpu, just got the K processor because it was cheaper at the time.

Cpu cooler for small case and tall ram? 1150

Thanks for the replies, I'll give the stock cooler a shot, I wasn't sure if there was something cheap $30-$40 range that would be better or more reliable. Like I said I haven't built a rig in years and was reading some poor reviews of the stock setup.

I've been out of the game for years and just built a new system running a 4690k and I need a video card to go a long with it. Moderate gaming, Dayz maybe some first person shooters (advanced warfare, unreal, etc...), I don't ever play any rpg's like skyrim, wow, etc... Monitor is 1920x1080...
