helvetio, you REALLY need to address that question to the chaps on the graphics card forum rather than this forum, it is VERY unlikely that this mobo will have any impact on the overclock of your 7900, that will be down to your PNY card, it's cooling and your PSU quality.

MIDIman, if you're stuck then do a repair install of Windows XP, this won't lose any of your progs or data, then install all the service packs, windows updates etc. BEFORE you install any T/P hardware drivers.

GODDEH, is it possible that the DDR2 modules are not correctly installed, since you have already mounted the mobo in the case it can be very difficult to apply enough force to fully snap them in. Also make sure that you load the failsafe defaults in bios and then reboot before tinkering...

GODDEH, you'll need to upgrade the bios (consensus suggests version 2.10 is best, and I agree) to get your new DDR2 working properly. You must have formatted the HD incorrectly to get a smaller partition, no matter, you can get the other 100 GB by creating an extra partition in disk...

...You'll be lucky! This board has no core voltage adjustment, pretty important for overclocking P4D. Oldhoss, the ONLY reason to buy this board is to reuse all your old gear, although the Audigy might create issues. The NV 8800 does not work with this VIA chipset, period.

MKD, it doesn't matter which C2D you have; the only important difference is the locked multiplier, in your case this is x7, in my case (E6400) it is x8, E6600 = x9 etc. etc. etc. I believe that the X6800 has an unlocked multi, hence the absurd cost! Try my overclock settings posted earlier...

PaulNEPats, the stock cooler is more than good enough, I get about 40C idle and 45C under full load and that's an E6400 running faster than an E6600! Just modded my 7800GS with a nice new cooling system, great results; 500/1400, 55C at full load. Gonna post the 'How To' in Videocard forum...

orbiter, is it possible that your 7600GS is overheating and throttling? You really ought to ask the chaps in the graphics forum since this clearly isn't motherboard related. Maybe a driver issue, did you clean up (DCPro) after changing your 6200 out?

If you're planning to overclock with the NF7 at all then you need a really good PSU with at least 400W and really beefy 12v rail. PC P&C, OCZ, Antec, Tagan, Enermax etc. are all good.

Have you tried setting the default display adaptor to PCIe rather than AGP in the bios BEFORE you change the cards over? Otherwise I suspect your power supply may be junk, you don't mention it which suggests you probably don't have enough juice to run the card! (see my sig for PSU reality check) :)
